The TCS Sydney Marathon is the newest addition to the World Marathon Majors, becoming the seventh member in 2025. Starting in North Sydney, the course crosses the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge before winding through the CBD, Darling Harbour, Centennial Park, and finishing spectacularly at the Sydney Opera House forecourt overlooking Circular Quay. Born as a legacy of the 2000 Summer Olympics, the race has grown into one of the Southern Hemisphere's premier road running events.
