Formerly known as Ultra-Trail Mt. Fuji (UTMF), the Mt. Fuji 100 is now a World Trail Majors race that circles the base of Japan's iconic sacred mountain through ancient forests, volcanic terrain, and traditional villages. Starting and finishing near Lake Yamanaka, runners complete a full circumnavigation of Mt. Fuji with views of the symmetrical cone appearing and disappearing throughout the course. The race combines world-class competition with a deeply cultural Japanese experience.
