One of the fastest 100-milers in the United States, the Javelina Jundred loops through the Sonoran Desert of McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Scottsdale, Arizona. The main staging area and start/finish line at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Runners complete multiple 15.3-mile loops, returning here each lap to raucous cheering, music, and the famous party atmosphere.

Pemberton Trail North

The first section heads north along the Pemberton Trail through classic Sonoran Desert — saguaro cacti, cholla, and palo verde trees line the smooth single-track under wide-open skies.

Jackass Junction Aid Station

The turnaround point on each loop. This legendary aid station is famous for its themed decorations, enthusiastic volunteers, and the mental boost it provides at the halfway point of every lap.
