Sharon Lokedi is a Kenyan marathoner who broke through with a debut victory at the 2022 New York City Marathon. A former Kansas Jayhawk, she won the 2018 NCAA outdoor 10,000m title and was a two-time Big 12 cross country champion before turning professional.
Lokedi finished fourth at the 2024 Paris Olympic marathon in 2:23:14 and returned to the World Marathon Majors stage in 2025 with one of the great performances in Boston history. She won the 129th Boston Marathon in 2:17:22, a personal best that shattered Buzunesh Deba's 2014 course record by more than two and a half minutes. The win gave her a second World Marathon Major title.
She trains under coach Stephen Haas with the Under Armour Dark Sky Distance group in Flagstaff, Arizona.
