Maryline Nakache is a French ultratrail runner born September 7, 1984 in Marseille. She was the 2018 French national champion in long-distance trail running and has since become the most dominant women's competitor in modern Marathon des Sables history.
Nakache has won the Marathon des Sables across the Moroccan Sahara three times: 2023 (27:02:17), 2025 (23:57:20), and 2026 (25:54:29). Her 2026 victory was a clean sweep across all six stages of the six-day, 250-kilometer event. She also won the Québec Mega Trail in 2025 in 19:11:41 and took the 100-mile race at the inaugural 2026 MDS Ultra.
At 41, Nakache races primarily multi-day stage events and long single-stage trail ultras. Her durability across consecutive days of desert running and strong finishes at 100-mile distance place her among the most versatile women in international ultra distance.
