Trevor Fuchs is an American trail runner from Utah who won back-to-back titles at the Wasatch Front 100 in 2016 and 2017 and the HURT 100 in Hawaii in 2020. He came to the sport late, having been a smoker in his twenties before turning to mountain running, a transformation profiled by Outside.
His 2016 Wasatch victory came in 21:13:58 on the point-to-point course through the Wasatch Range above Salt Lake City, and he defended the title the following September. In January 2020 he won the HURT 100 in Honolulu in 22:04:00, a race widely regarded as one of the hardest 100-milers in the world. The win followed earlier finishes of fifth and second at the race across previous visits to Oahu.
Fuchs races on a plant-based diet and has set a fastest known time on the White Rim Trail in Moab. His three 100-mile wins all came on steep, technical mountain courses, the terrain that has defined his career in the Intermountain West.
