Lonah Korlima Chemtai Salpeter is a Kenyan-born Israeli marathoner and the Israeli national record holder. She won the 2020 Tokyo Marathon in 2:17:45, a course record at the time and her personal best, ranking her among the fastest women in marathon history.
Salpeter won bronze in the marathon at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Israel's first ever marathon medal at a global championship. She finished as runner-up at the 2022 Boston Marathon and has been a fixture at the World Marathon Majors throughout the 2020s.
She represents Israel after marrying Israeli coach Dan Salpeter, and trains as part of the Israeli national distance program.
