Sergio Pereyra of Argentina won the 2026 Patagonia Run 100 Miles in 20:28:21. Mariana Fernández of Argentina won the women's race in 25:44:22 across the trails around San Martín de los Andes, in the heart of Lanín National Park.

Pereyra moved clear of a tight three-man lead group in the closing kilometers. Fernando Rubén Mendieta finished second in 20:41:02, and Maximiliano Vázquez took third in 21:12:41. The all-Argentine podium continues a strong home-country presence at the largest trail festival in South America.

Fernández ran a consistent race over the second half to take the women's title. Her 25:44:22 fell short of Adriana Vargas's 2022 course record of 23:59:11 but cemented her place among Argentina's top women trail ultrarunners. The 100 Miles course covers more than 160 kilometers with over 9,200 meters of cumulative positive elevation gain, with technical trails through Lanín National Park.

The 2026 edition drew more than 6,000 runners across the festival's full slate of distances, from 10K to 110K and the 100 Miles. The 100 Miles race ran from April 8 to 11 across the Patagonian autumn landscape.

The race remains the flagship event of Racing Patagonia and serves as one of the few Southern Hemisphere trail ultras to draw international elites. Past international winners have included Pau Capell, who set the men's course record of 19:08:57 in 2019.

Pereyra's win marks one of the highest-profile Argentine wins at the 100 Miles distance in race history. The country has long produced strong shorter-distance trail runners but has fewer 100-mile veterans on the international circuit.

Fernández extends a recent run of Argentine women contending at the top of the South American trail circuit. Her win positions her for international invitations heading into the Southern Hemisphere spring schedule.

The 2027 Patagonia Run is scheduled for April 7-11, 2027, in San Martín de los Andes, Argentina.
