The Vermont 100 Endurance Race has been held annually since 1989 in West Windsor, Vermont, covering 100 miles of rolling dirt roads, horse trails, and pastures with 17,000 feet of elevation gain under a 30-hour cutoff. One of five races in the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning, it runs concurrently with an equestrian endurance ride, the only known ultramarathon in the United States held simultaneously alongside a horse race. The event raises funds for Vermont Adaptive, supporting sports access for people with disabilities.
